Kington Park has always been one of our busiest sites; we have a wide range of customers who enquire for different reasons.
We are a popular choice with people moving home who like to use a shipping container as a temporary space to keep their belongings safe whilst removal teams do the bulk of the work. But we also take just as many enquiries from potential tenants who are looking for workshop space to rent.
Manual businesses enjoy our single & double garages as a space to work on & store their equipment, especially when they’re on the road a lot and they don’t need to take everything with them day-to-day. Often a smaller workshop is used by individuals who like to tinker on cars or motorcycles. Our larger workshops attract businesses looking for a space with private facilities, with lots of height and sometimes with more specific requirements like 3-phase electricity.
At present we have a selection of workshops available in different sizes. We don’t expect these to hang around for long so lets get into the options!
Norton 2 is a flexible workshop with a great amount of ground & first floor work space. It’s a 688ft2 unit making it one of our larger workshops on site. It has got a high ceiling, fantastic access for pallets and a mezzanine of 200ft2 (which is included in the total rental space).
The mezzanine has previously been used as an office but it could also be used as a separate workspace or a storage area. For many, the ability to separate out areas in a larger industrial unit without rooms or partitions is very appealing.
Norton 2 is one-of-a-kind at Kington Park and best viewed in person. Please book in for a tour with Jen our Site Manager to check out its potential.
Our Startley double garages are a great place for storage, to work on ‘stuff’ and for light industrial use. We’ve had various occupiers come & go from these units due to their good price and convenient nature. We like to refer to them as simple brick buildings with double garage doors, LED lighting and access to electric.
These garages can be rented on flexible lease terms, therefore a smaller commitment when dipping your toes into the water of taking on a workshop, whether it’s for personal or business use.
